Isabel was selected to join the 2026 cohort of GeoCAFE scholars. GeoCAFE is an NSF-supported program led by the Harvard Data Science Initiative and Boston University School of Public Health focused on connecting scientists from geoscience and public health backgrounds to develop interdisciplinary approaches to understanding climate change impacts on human health.

Isabel attended the Arctic Science Summit Week, organized by the International Arctic Science Committee, in Boulder, CO, where she engaged with leading Arctic researchers from around the world. The summit highlighted research integrating both Indigenous Knowledge and western science. During the meeting, Isabel presented two research posters, sharing her work and contributing to discussions on Arctic environmental change.
